Keep your blister pack trash

If you’re like me, you open your Hot Wheels before you even get home and I have them on the track once I set foot inside. To those of us that aren’t Shelf Collectors the blister packs don’t mean much, but that doesn’t mean you should toss them out. The blister pack “trash” can come in handy when customizing.

The blister pack “windows” are great to use when mixing things like paint, JB Kwik, or even just glue. The clear plastic can also be used to fashion a replacement window for your car if you need one. If you get crazy with customs that clear plastic can probably become many different things.

The blister pack cardboard is just good cardboard to keep around. You never know when you’ll need some to use as a paint palette, mixing flat, support system, or as a cutting board. I often use the back cardboard for spacers when working on wheels and the chassis.

All in all, nothing too fancy and if you buy as often as I do then you’ll have bags full of blister pack leftovers ready for any project.
