The Batmobile FTE has been beaten! In a kinda not so surprising race, the 1971 Dodge Demon burns past The Bat to claim the top spot in the Great Race. Every Dodge Demon in my collection has performed very well on the track. That casting just seems to have good axle setup and a nice balance.

New winners and new losers
At the opposite end of the list, there is also a new top loser. The Coronet Super Bee showed up only to get dominated by everyone, including the lack luster GTX. I expected the Bee to run poorly, but not that poorly.
The battles of the day were mid-list as the Ford GT-40, Mini, and Mustang all went back-and-fourth with each other. Some really close races there for some good action.
It’s going to take some great running to beat the Dodge Demon. It’s just a…well…demon on the straight away. It got beat down the hill but it just out ran everything for the last mile.
