Happy holidays and your diecast wish list

Tuesday, December 8th, 2009 by Brian Vaughn

Christmas and other gift giving times are coming up…are you excited? Will you find some Hot Wheels in your stocking? No wait, I know…you have enough Hot Wheels, don’t you? You don’t need anymore cars or shelves or playsets.

What’s on your diecast wish list?

Looking for a playset? That Treasure Hunt? The next FTE so you can win the next drag?
Share you list in a comment below.

And you know, next time you’re rummaging the shelves, grab a few extras and drop them off at your local charity to put a smile on someone else’s face this year. Hot Wheels are something we probably take for granted because they’re cheap to us…but they might not be cheap for everyone. Share the fun this season.

It’s the off-season for me

I gotta admit that the cold months are somewhat of an off-season for me when it comes to Hot Wheels work. My “workshop” is located in our patio room and it gets mighty cold, plus I can only paint outside so that’s off limits too until it warms up.

Even though my racing might be light, that’s not to say there’s not any racing going on! There might not be racing in the Redline Derby household, but there is elsewhere. Don’t forget to check out the Redline Forums for diecast racing chit chat, photos, and shop talk.

Posts may be fewer and farther between until the new year…maybe…it’s hard to say, but just wanted to thank everyone that has supported Redline Derby Racing so far this year since we booted up in September. With three months under my belt, I have some ideas for the future and can look back on what has been good and what has maybe not worked out like I had hoped.

Thanks for your support

If you have any feedback for me regarding the site, please leave a comment or you can send an e-mail too. I’m looking for anything on your mind – what you like, what you don’t like, what you want to see, what you were expecting but didn’t get…everything.

And I want to wish happy holidays to everyone and ask that you please check out the Racing and Customizing sections of the site for a complete list of articles and entries. And don’t forget to follow us on Twitter for the Daily Diecast…remember, you can have your cars added to the feature too!
