Fantasy derby league, please help us test

Monday, March 8th, 2010 by Brian Vaughn

After a couple months of brewing on the Message Boards and after quite a few weekends of work, the Redline Derby Fantasy Racing League has been launched and is currently in beta testing – which means I need your help!

This Fantasy League works like many other popular fantasy sports games. You pick your team and then you gets points based on how they perform in real life. Toy cars. Real races.

Start playing in the Redline Derby Fantasy Racing League

I thought creating the fantasy league would be a more enjoyable way to share the fun of diecast racing. I’ll be racing cars anyway, so why not try to let others have fun with me, especially considering most of the other car people I’ve met are elsewhere in the world.

I need your feedback

Will this car earn you points? Find out!

I ask you to please check out the Fantasy Racing League and sign-up for a game account. It’s entirely free to play and even if you don’t plan on playing regularly, I want as many people playing during this beta test period as I can.

I also ask that you share your thoughts on the product after you play around with it for a bit. Not only am I looking for bugs and errors in the actual game, but just looking for ideas on what would make the game better…or what makes the game not-so-fun right now.

You can leave your feedback here as a comment, you can e-mail me, or you can add to the thread over in the forum. Anything and everything you can share is greatly appreciated.

And I need to thank all the guys that helped me refine this whole idea in the forum. I kept throwing out ideas and you all kept me on track without getting too crazy. I can’t thank you enough.

Hopefully after this test period the Redline Derby Fantasy Racing League can be a lot of fun for everyone.
