The first Fantasy League champion

Sunday, June 6th, 2010 by Brian Vaughn

The last race of the first season in the Fantasy League was last Sunday over the Memorial Day weekend, but players had a chance to trade-in their cars for last minute points before this Sunday. Today we crown our first Fantasy League champion.

COMPLETE RANKINGS: Check out the full leaderboard

The first Fantasy League champion with 18,640 total points for the season is JDC 442 Racing. Congratulations to the winner and again, a big thanks to all those that played this season.

A big congrats should also go out to Hurricane Chase who lead the rankings for the last few weeks of racing, he was at the top of the list after the last race. But JDC 442 cashed in the cars in his garage for some points and found just enough to edge out the win by only 110 points.

And so closes the inaugural season of the Redline Derby Racing Fantasy League. The next season of the league is shaping up to be a lot of fun as well. We’re switching gears and moving to bracket tournaments, so the competition should be even closer! If all goes to plan, the second racing season will open in July.
