Welcome to Redline Derby Racing! I like to tell people that I collect Hot Wheels but I am not a Hot Wheels collector. When most people hear “collector” they think of people that obsessively buy things – like toys! – and then put them on a shelf never to open or play with them.

We collect to play
We collect to play. As kids we scooted our cars across the kitchen floor and made them do jumps and loops in our bedroom. Now that we’re older we can take our play to the next level.
We use tools and time to turn off-the-shelf Hot Wheels and other diecast cars into speed demons, custom creations, and other DIY weekend projects. We take our cars and see what there is to do with them. That might mean seeing which ones are the fastest, or it might mean trying to turn our beloved toys into something entirely different – like a USB flash drive. We love to play!
So we collect Hot Wheels and other diecast cars but we’re not collectors. We welcome all diecast lovers to Redline Derby Racing, but if you’re faint of heart when it comes to opening blister packs and stripping cars of their mint condition, then please proceed with caution.
