Highlights from the Nashville convention

The Nashville Collector Experience convention has come and gone, and with it Redline Derby’s first live racing racing event on the giant 50-foot track provided by Jason from the Texas Diecast Racing Association. The convention was a lot of fun and racing on the big track was quite the learning experience.

Nashville convention ticket giveaway

Thanks to the gracious hearts of the people over at DiecastSpace.com, I have tickets to giveaway for the Nashville Diecast Convention happening this June 16-19. I’ll be attending and it will be my first convention so I’m hoping to meet a few diecast friends in person and enjoy some cars.

My wife got a new iPhone recently and I quickly discovered the app store is missing one thing, a Hot Wheels app. I know diecast collecting might be considered a somewhat stogy hobby, but there’s no reason we can’t have some modern conveniences.
