blutrack to orange track converter connector?

Stroller Monday, 8/3/2015

Anyone know how to make a track section for going from blutrack to orange track?  Going from orange track to blutrack is fairly easy but I can't figure how to go the other way.  Anybody?  fordman?....Stroller

Take a look at this article that Smitty (Fordman) did a while ago...he used some cheap plastic parts to make Drag Track/Orange track connectors. You could probably do something similar for Blutrack.

Most members have Drag Track or orange track-based tracks...or combo of the two. Blutrack hasn't gotten hold for some reason or another, so you can blaze some trails with your track. Looking forward to what you come up with. Then we can all look forwards to the orange track to blutrack to drag track connector combo super race! ;P

Maybe make up a flat steel plate, trim one end to make 2 hot wheels "connectors" ...on the other side, drill and tap the 2 holes in the plate to 4-40 ... space them for centering H W  and the blue track lanes, drill [2] holes, centered, and 1/4" from the end of both the blue lanes... with a larger drill, countersink the holes in the blue and thread countersunk 4/40 screws through the blue track into your plate ...NOTE ;  you will need some screw "clearance" under the union... still can't post pix !
