oops ... Bernie sent me a bent cards case... I have been cutting the cards in half to give away... just noticed the whole case are 1st editions.. anyone need me to stop cutting and trade around...?

I love that this whole post sums up just how committed Smitty is to modding.
I don't even want to know how many "special" cars I had opened and demolished in the past because I just wasn't paying attention. Doesn't matter much now...it brought joy to me regardless, but still fun to think about.
First editions aren't too special. Don't feel guilty modding them. Now, if it was a rare wheel variation or some other variation, that's a crime when you take one of those out of the package!
