Photo of the day thread
If Brian allows this. Not sure if this is easier, or harder on the site?
Instead of a new thread every time a custom is made, we could just add the photo here? Again Brian can comment.
So race cars, custom, mainlines, treasure hunts, diecast dioramas... you name it.
Maybe limit to one post a day?
Discussion
Sounds good to me! I do have ideas/plans for how to kind of auto-collect photos from threads to make a daily photo...kind of like the old Daily Diecast I had on the old (very old) Redline Derby site.
Also have a thought to make a photo-by-mail thing too so everyone can just shoot off photos from their phones as they're out and about.
But that's all in the plans...and my reputation for getting things done fast isn't that great, so this is the best we got right now. Thanks for starting it, can't wait to see what people share.
Fair warning, however, that as more photos get added this thread could be very slow to load. If your image host offers various sizes for photos, pick the one that is 800-pixels wide or less, probably "medium" size in most cases. Smaller photos will help reduce load time and bandwidth use.
Well these don't measure up next to what I've seen here, but a couple of my very 1st tries ,years ago..

My very first Hot Wheels car as a kid was this Morris Wagon from one of those birthday sets. Not as worn as some of the other ones I had back then.
