Show and Go
I had an idea for a tournament where there would be racing per usual and a contest for the best looking car. You could win for the fastest car the prettiest car and the overall winner.
Every contestant would vote for the best looking car. First place through Fifth place. Five different cars of course. 5 points for first, 4 for 2nd etc, down to 1 point for fifth. You can not vote for your own vehicle. Everyone gets one point if your car is modded. So stock cars are allowed but get less points.
In the racing it is scored as usual 1 point per win.
Maybe the voting should be private. You can send in a pic of your car or wait and have the host take a pic for you.
Feedback please.

The one in Dallas was my very first mail-in as well. I entered a flat black Olds 442 w/ fte.
Sounds good to me! I can't say I'm guilty of many pretty mods, but I've got some nice looking stocks.
I like the ideal and think it should be a part of all the race series.
- I think it sounds like a great series, I know I wouldn't win the looks contest Lol — KandORacing
maybe to promote potential hosts, only the hosts vote on looks...[not their own],
the cars look different in person than in pix...
I think this is best where our cars go on tour to an outside venue...like LJLRC. Then folks who don't know who built them can vote. Thoughts?
yeh, let the johnnies vote on looks !
That wouldn't be a bad idea; perhaps we could set them up so that all the members could vote on them. Your idea about the hosts is good, too; but are we going to have a bunch of hosts or limit it to five?
Pictures will be different now that the automatic resizing overlay is in place. (guessing it is still there?)
I know I miss details until I see the photos I took. Most of the time being - after the cars are already sent off for the race!
my first ever mail in win was at the Dallas Diecast Space convention...[thanks Jason] the cars were placed by looks and issued points, then raced, averaged for the winner...
