i liked how he put the car back on the track, then when it didn't roll all the way to the jump, he picked it up instead of pushing it over the jump...SMART, VERY SMART !
Yeah Smitty we noticed that to. Sharp kid.
looking for a timer set up for [2] lane 1/64 scale drag racing... not drag tracks /expert racers...
lane 1/64 scale drag racing... not drag tracks /expert racers...
Ask Preacher about that, he's got either a Fast Track or Micro Wizard laser timer.
lane 1/64 scale drag racing... not drag tracks /expert racers...
I have the Micro Wizards Race timers...works Great, easy to use & setup. I paid $265 for it...expensive, but it has taken our racing to the next level. Let me know if I can help.

if you have a minute, jump over to the Lincoln johnny lightning race club's facebook page and take a quick look at the seamless 22' track that DADVBAL fabbed up for the johnnies...up to 4 lanes to cope with even the biggest of crowds...
... spiffy DAD... very spiffy!
...
he looks pretty sharp in the pix, even after he got some "White Pine Sawdust" in his beard and hair !

I've seen this track on FB and it is really Sweet! They did a fantastic job building and putting it together. Major Kudos to their Race Club!

THEIR CLUB'S COMP. TRACK IS 24' LONG WITH MICRO WIZZARD TIMING...
THE NEW ONE THAT DADVBAL BUILT IS [4] LANE, 22' AND USES A 6 LANE RACEWAY FINISH LINE.
... GO DAD GO !
to try and keep the lanes as even as possible I am doing away with the dual pitch starter set up...
this stand is to let me use MICRO-WIZZARD start switch, finish line unit and MAGIVER starter at the same pitch as my EXPERT RACERS TRACK SET...
the legs are removable to collapse it for road trips...both legs and base are only 24" long [fits suitcase].
I did not use any pvc cement, it is rugged as is..
with a little work it could support almost any mobile track set up...
as done on all my other tracks, i made the starter unit 1/2" narrower than the pvc base on all 4 sides, I will drill holes through the fiberglass base 3/8" from the edges, wire ties through these hole and around the pvc anchors it nicely...
. set up for DRAG TRACKS ; transfer, [1] 20" track section and the 1" union...
.
note the adjustable pitch ;
I may need to use some pvc cement if the "joints loosen up" ... * $8.67 - American !
Looking good!
Is JDC Jr. gonna host a race? I need time to make a jumper..............Very cute. The little boy I mean.....
