Here are some pics of my first track build. I was roughing it trying to find the best drop and angles. It was originally on a banister knee wall that was 16 feet long in a townhouse.

This is the beginning of the second track
The drop is about 3 1/2 feet long and the straightaway is almost exactly 10.625 feet which is 1/8 mi. scale length. The long piece of wood was cut from a dimension lumber 1x8x16. The drop is a piece of 1x6 dimensional. The legs are cut from pieces of recycled pallets. The shelf and the drop are from the same piece of 1x6x16. All of the wood including the piece of moulding were free, left-overs from a remodeled house that I cleaned.
