Upcoming Race input...
I definitely would like a yearly Bare Muscle race. Those are fun!
- Well isn't that special. };D — FOTF
- Yeah, that race is a fun one...definitely planning that for 2016! — 72_Chevy_C10
I never understood Bare Muscle racing. It's just cars without paint....?
Salt Flat Racers, just about any casting, and SKINNY wheels like on the car below...

- I've been thinking about a skinny-wheel mod race too, just to see how they do — redlinederby
- burl-esque's front wheels — fordman
Super Nova race, all castings must be a Chevy Nova... Nova wagon, 66 Nova, 63 Nova, 68 Nova...any brand diecast
Odds vs Evens, build two production based cars... one ends in an odd year... say 1971, and the other an even year say 2010.
You know that you won't get any arguments from me on a Nova race. But that made me think, there are a bunch of cars named with 'space' terms...the Comet and Tha Galaxy come to mind (I'm sure their are lots of others).
That would keep the Blue Oval boys happy...could call it the "Space Race" :)
- Space Race sounds fun. Being a vanner, I would submit an Astro. — Finkle_and_Sons
- Astro. good one! — CrzyTrkrDude
- Ford: Orion, Telstar, Meteor, Galaxie, Taurus. — Stroller
- Chevy: Equinox, Nova, Vega — Stroller
- Toyota: Celica = Celestial — Stroller
- Subaru = Pleiades — Stroller
- Saturn: Saturn Sky — Stroller
- Mercury: Mercury Comet — Stroller
- Mitsubishi: Eclipse — Stroller
- Olsmobile: Rocket 88, Starfire — Stroller
- Dodge:Aries — Stroller
- I think, anything Subaru... with also those stars in the logo. lol — CrzyTrkrDude
I know I may be one of the few, but I'd really like to see a US Exotics vs Foreign Exotics.
There's more US Exotics to select than you would think.

How about a Soap Box Derby, Redline Derby Style.
Hot Wheels size all wooden racers. Uses HW wheels and axles. Any style, open wheel or not. Weight and size limits. Do not have to be model of any real vehicle. The amount of detail is up to you. Maybe voting for the best looking or cleverest. Choice of wood needs to be talked about.....Stroller.
Hey Stroller,
The Pinewood Derby idea is a cool idea. Could send out wood blocks to be cut down, just like Pinewood Derby!
- balsa wood might be easier to shape, with a pocket full of weights. — CrzyTrkrDude
- ( a pocket, for the weights I mean) — CrzyTrkrDude
- it could be called the "Whittle Car Race" every pun intended. LOL — CrzyTrkrDude
- I think pine would be better its stronger as does not splinter like balsa — Stroller
- true, but we could " paint" them with JB Weld to harden like shells — CrzyTrkrDude
Stroller's 4x4 race got me thinking...since there's a bunch of cars in that genre that don't fit orange track...how about a race for the extra wides. An open track series?
