I Don't want to make any of you guys back east feel bad, but it was 70 degrees this afternoon so I threw the kids in the hot rod wagon and we walked to the post office.

Part II:
Diogene Severin soon allowed a different driver to race after being injured from an accident. While testing "Dormeur," one of the coilovers broke with its fragments jamming a wheel, causing the truck to spin out and roll over. Diogene acquired a spinal cord injury and a broken leg.
Tracksurgeon Racing, or TSR, then sent in a replacement driver. Cyrille Angevine is a silicon-based humanoid with unpredictability. He has an unknown age, but claims to be only 30, while others believe his age dates back to ancient times. Cyrille also tends to utilize simple modifications on the vehicles he builds.
After his 2nd place victory at a stock race, driving a Cadillac 16, he compared the vehicle's quarter mile time among his creations before the Caddy's time became a standard for Tracksurgeon Racing.

Cyrille purchased a brand new fire truck and began modding its internal components. The truck is nicknamed "822," which looks exactly like "Dormeur" except it reaches faster speeds and has no defects. It beat the TSR standard by a 1/3 car length.
- Do you draw your characters? — redlinederby
- I have a friend who draws them. — Brakefluid_Tracksurgeon
- Cool. You should start new posts for each car you build that has a story — redlinederby
My Cadillac is on its way.
Brian~ I'll PM you with the car's back story : )
Updated the event date to reflect the date when the race show will be live. Also going to do a live preview show next Tuesday to give everyone a more in-depth look at the entries. Should be interesting and hopefully mildly entertaining. Things will either go okay or be a complete disaster, either way it should be a fun show to watch.
I'll be streaming things live on the RLD YouTube channel so people can chat while the show is going on.
Here's the plan...
Next Tuesday will be the preview show as I should have all the entries by then.
The following Saturday will be the race show with all the match-ups, scoring, etc.
- Awesome — 72_Chevy_C10
- I work late. Is the show saved to the page as well so it can be watched later? — Steele_Mill_Racing
- Yes, replays should be available after. — redlinederby
Can I mail this w/ the HW stock car for next month's race? If so, shall I fill out 1 or 2 slips?
Thanks,
- For sure, save yourself the trouble. Please include a second ID slip so I can keep cars straight. Thx — redlinederby
Finkle brought up a good point...anyone entering the Pro Series that hasn't already shipped out cars, feel free to pack your stock cars with your Pro Series mods to save the trouble for shipping later.
However, if you do, please include 2 ID entry slips so I know which cars go where and who owns what. I know it seems silly but it makes it much easier for me (and all hosts) when there are 2 dozen cars spread out on my bench! :)
Part III:
822 wasn't as fast as Cyrille expected. His truck had little effort put in its components and was a lemon to begin with. The truck was taken back to the drawing board to devise another modded Rapid Responder, of which an experimental one tagged "Porthos" was planned for modification.
"''Faster Than Ever' does not make certain for a vehicle achieve victory."
Cyrille was assisted by other crew members to modify "Porthos." The truck was taken apart piece by piece and each component was examined for damage and/or defects. Launch control, electronic stability, supercharger, and a nitrous oxide system were installed. Once tested against 822 and a Cadillac V-16, the experimental truck won by a car length.
