Race format and scoring
This will be a timed event. Top half of times will move on to the next round after each car runs once in each lane. The final two cars will get two runs in each lane and the best time is the winner.
The car that wins the final race will be declared the winner. Race host has final decision in all races.
Penalties/DNF
This is a hard limit of 70 grams so to be safe build your cars for 69 grams. If the car goes over 70 grams it will be allowed to race in the first round but won't move on from there.
If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory.
Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.
