Hosted by Snow Valley Racers | Marcus Firegone

It's Friday Night Street Racing with Snake.  We meet at the edge of town at Sparlings Propane near the railway tracks. Friday night we compete, four lanes wide, to determine who is the fastest. Afterwords Drivers hang out at either the Kawartha Dairy or Popeyes. We sometimes have featured events: TnT Monster Truck Challenge and/or Yellowline (see below). We don't condone Street Racing unless it is done at 1:64 scale.

There are now three apsecs to this event.  The orginal Friday Night Street Racing and now TnT Monster Truck Challenge and Yellowline.  Friday Night Street Racing and TnT Monster Truck Challenge is a choose your ride event, no mail-in requird.  Yellowline on the other hand is a mail-in event.  For the choose your rides, simply request a Casting and Snake will find you your ride. Snake is very resourceful at "finding" rides. The location of this race event has been relocated from downtown Orillia to Sparlings Propane near the railway tracks.

How to enter

Contact the tournament host to request your casting.

If mail-in your ride, Include a Race Entry ID slip with your entry

Track

Approximately 10 feet of flat track and the starting gate is about 3 feet off the ground. The track has 4 divided lanes and a finish line gate.  Track goes along side a railroad track, past a propane company, over crushed cars and ends in an electronic finish gate.  Be the first to the gate to win.

We have switched from a "pusher" to a gravity track.

Race format and scoring

Four cars race side by side from a 4 wide launch gate.  Cars will be run four times with rotating start positions.  The car the wins the most races is the overall winner of the round and advance.  Cars that advance get a shot at the Top 8 Friday Night Street Racing cars.  Before competing on against the Top 8 cars, Snake will be applying Dry Lube to your wheels to make you even more competitive.  Good Luck!

Penalties/DNF

If your car is found to be in vilolation of any of the rules, your ride will be forfited to Snake and victory given to the car you are racing against (or substatuted for another Driver/Car if available).

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken or that break during racing we will attempt to minimally repaired before the racing.

Cars provided by Snake are guaranteed to pass inspection and function with out incident during the racing event or Snake with personally provide you with another car.

Prizes

The honour of being the Top Driver. Also, at some point the Top 8 Drivers may get to compete on the Snow Valley Open Road Downhill Track.  Yellowline winner, once we get a real tournament going will be subject to prizes!!!
