Kmart Days Saturday 9/17/11
I know I've been away for a bit, but school has started and my life has become hectic again. Anyway, I just wanted to remind everyone that this is Kmart days for all you Hot Wheels collectors.

Sweet, thanks for the reminder. I don't really worry about the drawings and stuff but my bi-annual trips for KMart for Hot Wheels usually turns out well. I've found KMart has a lot of models not out in Target and stuff. I did find some new ones at Target last night, however that will be added next season. Some cool styles
I just got back from the event i picked up 30 or so cars and i got the 4 specials... awesome event!
Nothing special in my picks from KMart but a lot of new adds that will be in the league soon. And it's official, I absolutely HATE the new FTE wheel design. Yuck. Even though it makes them very easy to spot, they're just ugly.

I agree, I saw them for the first time today on the Javelin and thought to myself, "Wow, they look just as bad in person as they do in pictures." It's a shame really, that Javelin is pretty nice looking otherwise..
Not all Kmarts follow the rules. Case in point, I went to a new Kmart this time at 8:40am and they were already handing out boxes. It was cool though, just grabbed a ticket, got in line and my wife and I each got a box to open. Boxes were nearly identical. Got duplicates of the special colors, two A-team vans, and two regular treasure hunts The store even had extra boxes, so they raffled them off and about six lucky people got to open another box. I ended up buying 27. Now I just have to open 20 of them, mail in the backs with the receipt, and wait for the VW T1 drag bus to come in the mail

If you can see the wheels, you're not using the car right..... They all look the same on the track!
There were enough boxes for everyone where we went with 4 extras left, so we got three unopened boxes with 3 regular THs. I had my number drawn for one of the 4 remaing boxes and the guy that came with us did as well. His had the super hunt in it. Also grabbed 3 A-Team Vans and gave one to my buddy so he had three. Kids already opened one and another is going to a friend.
Got many other cars to add to our potenial racers. Really like the 71 Ford Mustang the best. Nice wide wheel base to this thing.
And I like the new FTE wheels! Like the solid gold when they spin.
Yes, I plan on attending. The raffle starts at nine but you need to get your ticket before they start.
