Now that I see the photo, I remember having the Stagefright car too! I had a little truck that shared a similar styling, don't remember what it was called though.

As I continue to dig up old toys and cars, I'm finding a lot more Matchbox cars survived than Hot Wheels. I also remember having A LOT of rip-off cars that my mom bought me at Woolworth's or something. The ultra-cheap ones that sucked at about everything...except blowing up and getting smashed...they were really good at that.

I remember Hot Wheels could really take a beating. Hammers, screwdrivers, fire crackers, water, sand, throwing...they took it all in stride and lasted the longest. I wonder how many millions of HW's are in the landfills or buried in the backyards of America.

Hmmm.. a Stagefright with FTE wheels and some added weight. Ever thought to try that Jason?

My all-time favorite design would be the Speed Blaster. I really love how it looks, its so pretty. There was a time when I was trying to collect them all, and I must say, I didn't do half bad! I have 9 of them in my collection. Contrary to what the name would have you believe, they aren't very fast. : / I might throw FTE wheels on one some day just for the fun of it, see what happens!

Edit: Scratch that. Only a few days after getting the idea, I did it. I am now the proud owner of an FTE Speed Blaster!

Asthetically speaking, my all-time favorite casting is the "A-OK"(see my avatar). Its one of the infamous "broken mold" cars which further adds to its appeal, IMO. I only own 1 example of this car, but it is an original release(green) and unopened.

I have a race A-OK in the garage also, lol.
