Chalk and cheese. The LaSalle Division opening round playoffs went exactly as expected, with the higher ranked teams beating the lower ranked teams. The Tucker Division, on the other hand, went exactly opposite to expectations with wins from the 4th and 3rd place teams over the 1st and 2nd place teams (now, it doesn't hurt that the third place team is the defending champion.)

SO, WHAT DOES IT MEAN THAT THERE WAS A TIE IN THE TUCKER DIVISIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME?
We'll look for a ruling from the League Commissioner later today.
An unprecedented situation occurred in the Tucker Divisional Championship Tournament and it has created an unexpected scenario for the upcoming GreyyCup III...where a new Champion will be crowned.
The Stutz Bearcats took on the AMC Javelins on the Javelins' home turf. It was a defensive battle, with both teams scoring well below their averages. The Bearcats fell victim to the Javelins' home field advantage--leaving them both tied! The Javelins and the Bearcats even split their regular season series--with the home teams winning each time: The Bearcats in Tournament Five and the Javelins in Tournament Twelve.
There's actually nothing in the rules about what to do when there is a tie in the Playoffs. The rules merely state that if the teams are tied after the points have been totaled up and the home field advantage taken into account...then the result is a tie.
There are many different tiebreaking criteria that could be used...but it is the decision of the League Commissioner, for the entertainment of the fans of the , that in honor of this being the third season of the league...that GreyyCup III will be a battle between the LaSalle Division Champion Pontiac Firebirds...and the Tucker Division Co-Champions...BOTH the Stutz Bearcats and the AMC Javelins.
Yes. GreyyCupIII will be a THREE WAY DANCE! Firebirds vs Bearcats vs Javelins!

Roster Moves and Free Agent Signings after 4/7/12 of the Continuing Trial Season
Most of the teams in the Mercury Cougars, has never had an active team captain--instead, their roster moves happen automatically based on the roster move rules of the original "Blind Trial Season," where the team has to wait for a player to have gone scoreless in three consecutive weeks in order for that player to be replaced on their roster by an automatic formula.
The Mercury Cougars have two players that fit that description.
Even though this happens automatically, the current rules state that all free agent requests are held until the end of the day and then prioritized to give the teams with the worst record the first chance to sign free agents. Well, it just so happens that the Cougars also have the worst record in the league so far--though, they are riding a two game winning streak.
The Mercury Cougars will be dropping Nukesub and Idea Guy and replacing them with the two highest rated free agents: Slash288 and Ayut. These changes will take place for the upcoming tournaments (which will take us through the end of the regular season and into the playoffs--so, these are the final changes that the Cougars will make this year.)
And no other teams currently have made roster move requests...
