RTL: Redline Team League (Blind Trial Season)
Greetings Redline Derby Fans...and welcome to a brand new way to enjoy Redline Derby Racing!
Welcome to the Blind Trial Season of the pits teams of Redline Derby Racing participants against each other in weekly head-to-head action...hoping not merely to score points but WINS!
This season is being run blind--no interaction is required. This year is being run merely to prove the concept--whether RTL Championship Game (aka the GreyyCup?) (neutral site game)

BLIND TRIAL SEASON CHAMPIONS: NASH RAMBLERS
RULES:
a) SCORING--The tournament scores for every member on the team are added up and then divided by 10. That is your team's score for that "game".
b) HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE--The "home" team's score has any fraction rounded up and the "away" team rounded down. (There is obviously no home field advantage in a neutral site game.)
c) WINNING--After comparing the scores of the two teams in a particular game, the team with the highest score wins. (If the scores are tied, even after or because of the home field advantage, then that game ends in a tie.)
d) TRADES--Will NOT be used in this Blind Trial Season, but in the future, a team captains can decide to trade players to each other's team.
e) FREE AGENTS--Will be utilized, if necessary, by me during this Blind Trial Season...replacing any participant who fails to score any points in three straight weeks with a participant who is not currently on a team. In the future, team captains will have the ability to make these changes as they might request.
f) ROSTER MOVES cannot be made after the playoffs begin.
g) TEAM SIZES/NAMES/CAPTAINS/etc--All this stuff was determined arbitrarily. Everything can be modified after the Blind Trial Season, if you might wish.

Wow. We couldn't even get to the first "game" before things spiraled out of control and into ridiculousness.
Team Valiant with a commanding early lead! Wooohooo!! Won all 3 of our matches! (probably because all 4 of us are active, haha)
A bit disappointing that not everyone put in scores for the first round. :/
Here is my calculations. I don't really know which of these matches we were 'home' for, but I don't think it matters. : /

This awesome! Thanks for the effort in setting up the trial. Now that I'm seeing things written out it's starting to click a little bit more. I'm sure after a week or two it will make even more sense to me. I'm slow sometimes
I'm excited to see this play out, even if it's all automated at this point.
