Season 8 Championship results and highlights
And the 8th season of the Fantasy League comes to a close with Iowastockcars winning his second championship trophy, congrats!! Iowa is also the first to earn the EZ 2K achievement for breaking the 2000 point barrier this season. For all of his great picks this season, he gets the Modder's Grab Bag prize that includes cars and parts he can use to create the ultimate customer racer.
The Nissan Skyline rally car will enter the Hall of Fame while the others will remained retired and out of racing action...for now. The summer racing season will see a few updates to the Fantasy League game that includes new game credits that players will use to unlock new cars as well as retired cars.
Season 9 will kick off in May after I push out the game updates and add new cars to the collection. I'm really excited for next season with the game credits and a smattering of new achievements for everyone to chase.
Big congrats and again to Iowa for the season win and a BIG THANKS to everyone that played this season and kept things fun, friendly and entertaining.

Just proves that picking brackets is worth far more than entering cars. If you can get in early to enter a car and win that gets you an extra 50 points but it's more crucial that you make your picks each week...picks will make you a winner.
I'll be resetting the scores and credits after this weekend. Updates will get pushed out early next week with new cars to follow once I get time to shoot some photos. I'll be posting details on the new game credits soon.
Now is also the time when I'll be asking around to see who can/wants to host some League races next season. I don't have any specific dates yet but if you're interested, please let me know.
