Race format and scoring
This will be a single-elimination tournament. A car will move on in the bracket only when it wins two races in a row. Cars will alternate lanes between each race.
The car that wins the final race will be declared the winner. Race host has final decision in all races.
Bracket seeding will be random.
Penalties/DNF
Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.
If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.
Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.
Prizes
Trophy(eventually) and Bragging Rights
Discussion
Oh heck yeah Im in. I have a massive pile of garbage cars laying around!
Matt
- Awesome!!! — LeagueofSpeed
- Gonna have some fun with this one! I normally enjoy making realistic cars but this time around it can be goofy...or...not! — Mattman213
Ali & I will probably submit as one team, unless we get ambitious and each make two.
Clarification. If I want to make the body out of two bodies, neither of which match the chassis, is that all right? Weird Franken-build.
I'm sitting this and Govner vs CCM event out. I have everything I need to mod cars now. I wanna take the extra time to work on my muscle mania rides.IIf theres a redline derby event. I'm game for that. Thanks to Red Pill and LoS for looking out and helping out.
Mismatched everything? Story of my life! I'm in. Maybe by then I can learn how to wheel farm effectively and do successful wheel swaps lol
Love this! Have to see if I can get something together. When's the deadline?
The Boneyard Classic bump...
...often imitated but never duplicated
...looking forward to seeing the Monsters and starting my own

Did this race happen? I sent a pair of cars but never saw any results.
- League of Speed has dropped out of sight. He hasn't run any races in 5 months, and still has cars from 2 years ago he hasn't returned, so I would just chalk up those cars as lost. — Peter_Bee
- Hahaha...no, it did not happen — Uncle_Elvis
- Unfortunately, no, it has not happened. As alluded to, the host for this race hasn't done any racing since the summer and has yet to return many of the cars that were sent in for many races. We've all done our best to contact him but get silence in return. No word on when/if this race will happen. — redlinederby
- Thank you all for your messages. I hope you all are well and everyone has safe and memorable holidays! — CB_Zeke
