About

Like many I was inspired by 3D Bot maker. The thrill of the motor racing and the professional production of the video's was just increadble, like watching real TV coverage of ralling. The whole concept appeals from the cars, modelmaking, video production and graphic design. So I decided to jump in and buy a few cars and some track. Currently i have one set of 11 Rally cars and one set of Gran Turisimo (10 Cars). The track has basicly 4 straights and 3 corners. The initial straight is standard hotwheels orange track coming into a 3D printed 180 degree 2 lane turn opening up to DIY Fat track using the 3D Botmaker magnetic track clips. I then have a further 2 High Bank 3D printed 180 degree turns joined by DIY MAG Track straight between them and finally ending with a long finish straight.

The main material are large blocks of Styrofoam which I intend to carve upup to give the cliff formations I want to achieve for Fraser Ridge Raceway. So it is currently only at the very early stages and defianiantly underconstruction as to say. I still forsee many hours of work still to go into it to achieve anything along the lines of 3D Botmaker.

Since getting into the sport I have to put a big shout out to my favourite sites that keep me inspired, 3D Botmaker, Hot Car Track, Chaos Canyon, RTR Diecast andDRC Racing. A big shout out to DSPN for the weekly round up, great work.

Please keep the good work up, you are all an inspiration to all us new guys. Hopefully Frasers Ridge will do something similar for others to join the sport.
