The Original Crew Chief Challenge was the first race that I put together, so I want to put on another one this year! The idea is for the teams to be made up a traditional Hot Rod (no fenders, 1935 and older) and the Pick Ups should be the Hot Rod's Tow/Support vehicle (any era Pick Up, but I kinda prefer the Older ones).
The Hot Rods should be fenderless, traditional Hot Rods...35 grams, any wheels, drilled rivet, the usual sizes (1.3" high, 3.5" long, orange track wide)
The trucks should be 57 grams, any era (but prefer older ), any wheels, drilled rivets, the usual sizes (1.3" high, 3.5" long, orange track wide)

Yes I'll host the first race, NOTE TO RACERS: send cash, or return funds to C-10... not me. Paypal, or a stamp is the best way.
I have a truck in mind... and maybe a Track T
I've got a lot of hacking and slashing to do...they need to lose about 9 grams each.
Smitty's real rides gave me some ideas... construction has begun... might not need to add any weight to this...that mill is heavy.

Let the cutting and hacking begin!
I'm thinking of I lose one engine (or maybe both) and both sets of pipes, I should be close to 35 grams :)
- snip off them pushbar outer ends, keep enough to grab the body mount... — fordman
- I'm debating whether I should move the rear axle forward or the front axle back — 72_Chevy_C10
I'm thinking that this Sude' might have the right 'tude...I'll have to try to make some speed
