1st Annual Raceway Park “Rip & Roll” Stock Eliminator Shootout presented by Sal’s Speed Shop
RACE UPDATE!
The deadline of having cars arrive by 2/28 has passed and entries are now closed. Thank you to all of you who have mailed me cars from near and far. If you sent a car and have not heard from me confirming it arrived safely do not worry.
I will run a consolation race with those cars (if there are any) in conjunction with the Stock Eliminator race called "Stock Procrastinator" so you will at least get to see your car in action and we can chuckle about it not arriving in time. There will be no prize for the winner.
The race is scheduled for next Saturday and all is set and ready. I will do my best to upload video coverage to my YouTube channel as quickly as possible and will notify everyone here when I do and will link it here.
Thanks again to everyone who sent cars, donations and kind words of praise about my track!

Hello Race Fans! The First Annual Raceway Park "Rip & Roll" Stock Eliminator Shootout is in the books! What a fantastic day of racing including drama, upsets thrills and chills! I want to first say Thank you! to all of you who sent in cars, who donated to my build and who supported this event. My crew and I had a ton of fun doing this and I am busy getting the footage uploaded as quickly as I can to show you all what an exciting race we had!
Cars that were requested to be returned are getting boxed and prepared for shipping. I will make a general post here notifying you all when they are with the post office. The footage will be posted incrementally so I can get it out faster beginning with the first half of the bracket, then the second half, then the quarter finals and last the semis and finals.

- Spydude, the angle of my track is not steep enough for the car’s weight to overcome the resistance of the ears on the wheels pushing on the motor and was unable to release from my starting gate. Just an update that cars that were requested to be returned have been sent so keep an eye on your mailboxes. Thank you to everyone who sent me a car, who included gifts and donations and who have had so many nice and positive things to say about the track. I appreciate all of you.
Most of you all know what it takes to host a race and I'm glad that I did it. I'll likely wait a while before I host another one but I have some ideas and am open to what types of cars you might want to see.
