Winter has arrived, and the Hot Wheels track has transformed into a frozen wonderland for the ultimate icy showdown: the Blizzard Bash!

The Blizzard Bash isn’t just about speed—it’s about control! Every twist and turn tests the limits of your vehicle and your driving skills, while the icy wind howls like a chorus cheering—or jeering—the racers on.

From frosty fantasy cars to sleek snow-themed speedsters, each entry has its own advantage on the cold track. Will the classic white snowplow bulldoze its way to victory, or will a bright blue ice racer slip past in a daring drift? Every lap is unpredictable, and one wrong turn could send your car flying into a snowbank!

By the time the checkered flag waves, only the fastest, most fearless racers will have conquered the Blizzard Bash. Prepare for a winter race like no other—where frozen thrills and slippery spills collide in a high-speed storm of excitement!

Rules & restrictions

• Stock and modified entries allowed
• 40-65g
• 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.25in. wide
• Limit 2 entries per household
• Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed.
• Any lube that DOESN'T Leak
• NO PUTTY WEIGHT!! (Even cured)
• Family-friendly driver names and decals – any offensive decals will be disqualified. Offensive driver names will be changed.
• Limited to 32 spots for equal heats

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before Friday, 1/23/2026. If the car(s) are not received by this date or if communication with host has not occured of pending arrival. The spot will be forfeited to the standby list and available to anyone who desires that spot. Racing is scheduled for Friday, 1/30/2026. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.

Racing will be on the Power-Up Pass. View track profile and specs

Race format and scoring

Cars will race in heats of 4 racers where the top two in points (after 4 races), moves on to the next round. Cars will alternate lanes between each race.

A point is scored as follows:

1st - 5pts
2nd - 3pts
3rd - 2pts
4th - 1pt
DNF - 0 pts

The car that wins the final race will be declared the winner. Sudden Death races for ties up until the final race. Then total points accumulated during the tournament will decide ties in the final race. Race host has final decision in all races.

Bracket seeding will be random.

Penalties/DNF

Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.
