Electronic Finish Line question

i'm not the guy to send you out after electronics.. but i am going to say welcome aboard.... glad to have you racing with your family.... when you have finished the family's try-outs for your " NATIONAL TEAM"...

Thank you for the welcome.Yea we started up on Christmas after my 2 sons got some hot wheels for presents.Now there are about 14 of us meeting every week lol.I have a track at my house and my father has a track at his house.I haven't looked into the mail in yet but i will be soon.

Hello every one.I am kinda new to Hot wheels racing.I used to race as a kid but this Christmas my family has gotten back into it.What i am looking for is a good electronic finish line.Some links would be nice.I would like to know what is available at this time.I have seen a few here and there,Like the black box one.But i can not find a link to buy one.Also i was interested in a digital set up also.One that would display time and such.Any help on this would be much appreciated.

Here is my Judge, no guessing with this thing. If ordered with the E.T. option it reads out to 0.00000. I have only had 3 dead tie finishes in about 3 years.I should have gotten the E.T. read out for both lanes, the winning lane gets the time, but I tried saving some $. Mine is also equipt with the AC power adapter and better sensors cuz I use it indoor and out.


I also made the cover for the Judge to shade it from the sun, even with the better sensors it needed a pit of help.

Hey Nightstalker9, have you had any problems with bugs on your track when using it outside. I had a 100 foot run down my driveway and had a problem with large black ants. Cars would hit them and smash them, but the aunts were big enough they would cause the cars to leave the track after the hit and run. I had to scrap that idea because my cars were taking a beating.

Well i have been looking into a lot of these today.I just found this one http://www.etekgadget.com/ .I emailed them to see if they will make it for 1/64 I love the display on this i think it would be a nice touch.The kids would love it for the Numbered finish and the adults (Including myself) Will love it for the ET's.

After adding the extras more like $315.00 but thats the one.
No problems with bugs, did hafta iron out a few though.

I'm pretty happy with my Judge, I shoulda went for the ET option on both lanes though. Still I get the fastest time for each run.
