Interesting team Rally Case -those cars look as though they're put together well, and mean business.
thanks very much JDC - kudos to your craftsmanship as well. The power wagon is monstrous (where did those wheels come from?) and I especially appreciate you going vintage with the Spoiler Sport. I decided to test the weight+wheelbase theory and went heavy and long on all my cars. Since I went a lighter than maximum in the middleweights, I'm interested to see how that goes. McJ and I didn't set up the track until race time so that we wouldn't have any testing advantage, so we are finding out as we go. A note of congrats to everyone on a really impressive group of entrants. So many well made and carefully chosen cars are making the Factory Wars very competitive!
So I have the video all done, Windows Movie Maker is driving me insane though. I'm getting file corruption errors all over the place and its not rendering. I'll keep everyone posted
BEFORE WATCHING
Sorry for the long wait everybody!
Now this is a confusing event to run because of 17 cars. So. the First race in each segment is a knockout race to narrow the field to 16. All the seeds were randomly drawn. Sorry for everyone who ended up with bad seeds, but thats racing!
The points was a little wacky. I wanted to award points all the way down to the bottom of the pack. Not all the racing is shown in the video, just the original bracket. Afterwards we raced the cars for 3rd- 12th place to award points.
