You guys know that the Cobra is not a Ford .... It was built by A C (Auto carriers Ltd.) in the UK. The earlier Cobra's also ran BMW and Chrysler engines before going with the Ford 289. Great car and race anyway JDC442
JDC's Cobra has a 427.
THere was discussion a few weeks ago about weather or not the Cobra qualified as a Ford. As far as I know we came to the conclusion that it was close enough.

JDC's Cobra has a 427.
At one time they also ran the Ford 390 in them and were nick named the "Turd" because it was a poor match up. But the cars were never built by Ford.
