Jungle Falls facts, opinions, discussions

The person you posted the screenshot of is famous for constantly whingeing about other peoples' tracks. You will never satisfy everyone and some people enjoy complaining. Just part of the human experience, I suppose.

Your track has greatly improved and it's awesome to watch. Your production turnaround time is stellar. Both times I have raced on your track I have not done well, but I believe it has more to do with my cars than your track. Even the best builders can get knocked out early. I take it as a challenge to do better and learn your track and try to better tune my car for it. I also trust that you will constantly be analyzing how the cars are doing, and to tune your track accordingly if needed, as most track builders do. I also love seeing your wild jungle animals from time to time in the diorama.

Cheers

  • This is probably the same guy who is responsible for the "World's Worst Track" moniker, too. — SpyDude
  • Holy cow, SpyDude! Thanks for the reminder of "that one guy" in the comments so long ago at Indiana Diecast Racing and Jim's epic response! Nowadays the "Worst Track Ever" sign there to me fades into the diorama. Glad it's still there, of course! — Chris_Hood
  • Dude, I'd light that thing up with neon lights, just to remind everyone what "some random guy" said about the track. Shove it in his face each time he tunes in to watch a race. — SpyDude

The track is what it is. If someone isn't happy with it, they can not race there.  That being said, you should probably tear it down and start again. This time with 2 jumps and a loop.

  • That was my first thought. No loops, definitely a jump. Yup a jump into a bucket of water — 1Jungle_Falls
  • How bout over a bed of hot coals — GBURacing
  • GBU, to much smoke.. fills up basement — 1Jungle_Falls

Your track requires a combination of luck and skill. You've made good improvements. It's a fun track to race on and even better to watch. I look forward to your next event. Anybody that doesn't like your track can kick rocks and take their toys and go home

Hi Jason. I have yet to compete anywhere or have much build experience, but I have been watching all of the diecast racing unfold in front of me for years. I've watched your videos many many times and for me the thing that keeps your channel from being more desirable is not the failure rate but the lack of camera footage. I hope you find a solution in your budget because Id love to see some of those wrecks up close or slow mo or whatever. I'll keep watching as long as you keep producing, so it's all good to me homie.

Print up a 3D sign that says something like "Most DNF's Award Winner" and dedicate it to Michigan Diecast.

Even better: "DNF's Happen Here!" by "Some Random Loser In Michigan." Now you're not even saying the name, but you're pointing at him and laughing about it.

  • "For all you do, this DNF's for you" like the old Budweiser commercials — Chris_Hood
  • I like the way you think. That's almost to much attention brought to his name. — 1Jungle_Falls
  • Has he ever even run on the Jungle? — Dutch_Clutch_Racing
  • Then put "DNF's Happen Here!" by "Some Random Loser" — SpyDude
  • Lol. @Dutch I don't think so — ManiacMotorsports
  • @Maniac, that's how it seems to go so often, right? Those with no skin in the game jeer the loudest, like one guy on every 3DBotMaker video claiming he can easily beat every car running, among other even more specious claims — Chris_Hood

Thanks for a great experience and looking forward to seeing if I learned anything heading into the Cops and Robbers Tournament, as I've got a few ideas to implement. Thanks again!!!
