First attempt at a Diorama
Decided to try my hand at making some dioramas before I went out and spent a bunch on pre-made ones. Didn't really know what I was doing but I channeled my inner artist and gave it my best shot. I still have some stuff to do to it before it's finished including decals on the building sign and a few other things but it'll work for its purpose!

Craft foam board and a colour printer can go a long way in keeping diorama costs down! Execution is the main thing. It took ten episodes for me to see one fellow's garage was a painted shoebox and it got a lot of time on camera!
looking good so far! I think the one thing you will learn above all else is... they are never finished! lol

I really hate his patience. and Mr. Trek. this mad bastard is building the US Enterprise , every cabin, staircase and toilet in 1/24 scale. the disc alone is 14 ft. around.all cardboard. youtube.

I think it looks fantastic! Just wondering if you are going to put a name/logo on the garage/showroom. Some color of some kind would nice with a logo or company name across that front area.
- Yes! This is the main diorama for my drag strip, plan on building some others but this one's "Drift's Auto body" as that's my brand. So this will be a autobody/showroom. Girlfriends designing a design for the giant spot in the front! — DRIFT_or_DIEcast_Racing
- So nice when you can bring your significant other into your hobby. My wife used to be my pit crew and would make changes on my car when we traveled to tracks back in the 80's to race R/C cars. She enjoyed it and left me to talk to other drivers and crews. She would also help talk to the other women so they were not 'bored' and were included in the events. — RacerGnome
