Rules & restrictions

• Stock and modified entries allowed
• 70g maximum weight
• 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.25in. wide
• Limit 1 entries per household
• Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed. Tube axles will be allowed
• Dry lube only , you are allowed to use silicone mix however if the car drips on the track will be disqualified .
• Since this is basically an all out event I'm going to list the things you cannot do:
• Tires should be black , small ones up front big ones on the rear but I will allow to cut those rear tires as long they keep the original diameter so basically you can run the car on four skinny tires , small size on front and big ones on the rear. But they should be black
• Covering the outside of the body with any kind of material not allowed
• Body lines and windows should be there
• Custom chassis allowed

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before Sunday, 6/21/2026. Racing is scheduled for Sunday, 6/28/2026. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.

How to enter

Contact the tournament host to get the shipping address for entry.

Include at least $15.00 for return shipping if you want your entries back. Entries not getting returned will be given to the winner as part of the prize.

Include a Race Entry ID slip with your entry

Racing will be on the Rincon Strip at LA Caridura Racetrack. View track profile and specs

Race format and scoring

32 car field
After qualifying runs field will be split in two brackets, first bracket will be top qualifyier followed by 3rd, 5th, 7th, and so on.
Second bracket will be 2nd qualifier followed by 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th and so on.
Format will be best of three, lane choice on third run (of necessary) is for the fastest car and it will be the lane where it posted it fastest time.
Race host has final decision on all races.

Penalties/DNF

Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.
