Hot Wheels 50th race idea
I've been out of the mix for awhile... Honestly I can barely navigate the new site, but I'm coming around...
What better way to get back in than hosting a race. Been kicking around an idea to celebrate Hot Wheels 50th aviversary. How about a race where you must use the wheels and axles pictured below. Looks like there will be 10 cars in the series with these wheels.
Race rules, so far...
Modified or Stock,
2 cars per racer,
Must use 50th aniversary wheels/axles,
57g max class,
Dry lubes only,
Any, and I mean any Hot Wheels car 1968-2018...
If this idea gets support I'll host on my home track

Can I just use 50th aniv. cars this way I can keep them stock?
- TE has Stocks and Mods...so it appears the answer is yes. However, you'd get smoked by a Mod if it's mixed classes....Drill them rivets Young Man!!! — LeagueofSpeed
If I can find 2 of these cars, I’ll go for it. I need the experience. Are they in stores now??
Im too lazy and figure out how to get the axles in and out.

- lots of tutorials, here and on line... questions? ask? — Traction-Event
- Get some garage sale cars or some beaters and practice drilling the rivets and popping the axles. Practice doing that before you hack a good car — Mopar_Mafia

Had to go rummage in the Boneyard...but found what I was looking for...Build 1.
I think we are shooting for the end of Nov, early Dec... due to other races on the schedule
