Whatever idea "we" decide to go with, I think we're more likely to encourage more participation & competition with broader entry requirements. (in other words, not limiting the race to only certain castings or styles of vehicles)...just my 2 cents.

Yeah I agree, I didn't get to race in it but I really liked the Featherweight series. It looks like a lot of people entered a lot of cars which lead to a lot of racing. We could modify the requirements for those who don't wanna repeat but keep it broad so we have a lot of people interested.

(in other words, not limiting the race to only certain castings or styles of vehicles)

The weight is the theme. Middleweight Challenge!

MUST ENTER TWO CARS.
YOUR CARS MUST HAVE DIFFERENT BODIES (no two bodies alike).
STOCK OR MOD OK (IT'S MORE FUN TO MOD!).
NO EARLY REDLINE WHEELS.
CARS MUST WEIGH 57GRAMS OR LESS.
CARS MUST BE LESS THAN 3.5” LONG.
CARS MUST BE LESS THAN 1.25” TALL.
ONLY "DRY" LUBES ARE ALLOWED.

In keeping with the "middleweight" theme, may I suggest that we stay with WorpeX's original proposal of a 35g minimum? By rule, it would exclude any 'as is' Featherweight Challenge entries and encourage the modding of lighter cars.

Agreed, also 57 is kind of a weird number, where'd you pick that one from? I'd rather keep it at 55 so that EconoCarl's scorcher isn't eligible.

two ounces = 56.699 G's.... other clubs use it..... yes on the over 35 G's rule.

Who uses onces? I'm pretty sure we all use grams here on the RLD.

I volunteer to host the first race. I'll throw out Oct 28th as the first date.
