sloppies did so poorly in Seekonk that we are hoping for at least a little better showing in MARYLAND...

Yup... I've been checking their twitter and facebook accts...no updates. but James did say he was going to photograph and video the racing action. So this may take some additional time.

So... about the races... they are bracket races. 32 entries with 16 races in the first round, then 8, then 4, then 2 and 1... Your bracket number, chosen at random from numbers placed in a hat, determines which lane you stat in against your opponent. Odd numbers start in lane one. A race consists of at least one run in each lane per entry. First car to win two runs then moves on to the next bracket, while the loser is eliminated. Each bracket is run the same way until there is only one!
I hope this is clear, because I can make things confusing...
