Matchbox vs Hotwheels 31-40.99g Class
I will send 2 stock if I can find a turbo tram in time will try to send that also thanks
In,across the board.
Well it looks like fat Bernie on eBay came through. Got my turbo tram today and the whole thing cost me seven bucks including shipping. It's definitely seen some playtime and the wheels are pretty wobbly, but it did make it down the drag track in one piece. Gonna be a full rebuild.

I'd like in for two and a mod
In for 2 stock and 1 mod
I wander forward into uncharted territory working on the Turbo Tram. New axles and wheels temporarily glued in. Time for the very first test runs on this weird casting.
i'll make a note that this casting or rather the base plate is very lightly made. As are the smaller rivets used. So proceeded very gently as I ended up blowing out the rear rivet shank. Have to decide whether I wanna try to fix that so I can put a screw in or just glue it at the end.
The end is near as I start to wrap up the Turbo Tram - I like where its going. Shooting f or a retro look back to the '60s - '50s of a rocket car on the salt flats.
Hey David. Can I just enter a mod for this race? I do have one stock hotwheel that is kinda quick, but no Matchbox cars that would be worth sending. Thanks!
I'd be happy to join you folk's. I can be in for 2 in the stock class.
So I'm still new into this. When you say stock, your meaning no opening up, no wheel changes or adding weight to fit in class?? Or it has to appear stock looking, no protrusions or things looking like out of a Mad Max movie? I don't mean to ruffle any feathers or sound stupid, I just want clarity before I sign up two matchbox cars that I have "modified" to others.
- No opening up, no adding weight, etc. It's a common question for newcomers. Welcome! See you at the El Camino Beano! — ManiacMotorsports
- Stock means just make them fast with a lubricant of your choice. No opening up the car, no, adding Weight No, cutting anything off. No added anything to it. — ElevationDiecastRac1ng
- Thanks guys! I appreciate your input/info! — Sportsman662
