Middleweight Challenge II (Feb 9 Series Start)
Cars are snug as a bug in a rug for shipping.

and check this out! The Jammer case fits right into the Medium size flat rate postal box (When I cut the handle off). These cars should be safe and sound for their next 9114 9010 7574 2469 9379 90.

Man my loaner went pretty far. Thanks again traction event!
Looks like I should have kept that car.... Like I said I hope it does well for you. No regrets, I sent in the doorslammer as a replacement/experiment with the FTE2 wheels. I still think it should hold it's own in this stacked field.
Great event, congrats to a sweeeeeet Ferarri.
Both my cars out in the first round...... But Hey this is truly awesome!!!!!!!!! totally digging it! hooked
Congrats to the winner!
My streak of never winning a round continues. Is there any advice you can offer? Anything noticeably wrong with my entries?

No doubt about it.

Well unfortunately you went up against some fast cars in the first round. AND through some crazy coincidence you raced EconCarl both times! Don't buy a lottery ticket today. He consistently builds some of the fastest cars around here. I also remember he wasn't so dominant until he got his home track up and running. So I would say testing and testing is one key to doing well. There's exceptions to every rule, but those short wheel base cars that you entered are not always the fastest.
Of course EconoCarl is doing very well in the Dueling Delivery race with a short wheel base little guy.
DVB entered that green Anglia shorty and it's real quick...Of course I just realized the little Ferrari that won this whole darn race has a relatively short wheel base Looks like the more I keep talking the less I know...
That's the thing, or one of the things about racing these cars it can be incredibly frustrating. If I'm Lucky one in four cars actually go faster after I "fix it up".

I was admiring the work on those wheels. I always get stoked any time I see someone doing something I haven't seen before.
Thanks guys! The competition just keeps getting better -I'm always amazed when I win. A lot of stops / different tracks left on this series, so anything can happen. Can't wait to get these cars to the JDC Raceway. I'll be posting a link to a Google spreadsheet with picture brackets again so you all can follow along. I'll be racing Saturday sometime before noon Pacific time.
Also ~love that Championship Photo Jim! Definitely gonna be my PC background

I've only been at it for a few months, but you're right, it is awesome! I'm having a blast. Already can't wait to see how my cars (and everyone else's as well) do at the next stop.
Congrats to JDC on the victory!
And thanks to TLD for getting this started. It's gonna be fun for the next couple of months.

i don't remember if i'm the finals host or not... but the finals host should send the jammer case back to T.L.D. with his entries so we can reuse the jammer in another series... I.M.O.

Yes, and I was taking a close look at the cars that lost in the first round to a car that went a long way through the brackets, especially if it was a close race. Those cars might "come out of nowhere in the future races".
