Race format and scoring

Cars are divided into 8 heats with 20 cars max. Lanes are drawn randomly. Each heat is run until 5 cars make it to the feature. Process of elimination for each position. Same process for the feature event. If cars come into contact with one another and neither cross the check point, both cars lose, unless last two in heat or feature. If only one crosses the check point, that car moves on. If both cars cross the check point without crossing the finish line, the car farthest traveled moves on. But whoever crosses the finish line first always wins.

Penalties/DNF

Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.

Prizes

Heat winners receive a medal.
Feature top 5 receive trophies.
Top winner receives trophy and half of entry fees.
