but to find out more about altered / modded racing, you can google; hardcore downhill series, you may have to log in ?...
also redline derby racing will have pix of this season's competitors.... (20) of 'em...HUS has UTUBE of the last 2 passes...
anyway, ( 5 ) so far, teams of (4) altered / modded cars each , less than 113.0 grams, no oil, graphite is ok...
8 host tracks around the country... different results each week... has been fun... see you in the other lane... smitty

Those are some damn good looking customs. I love the super van. The only thing I can see with any of them is the tire clearance on the right front of the Gremlin. It looks a bit close, but might just be the pic. Sometimes the axles will bend and flex a bit in the transition area of the track but this is mainly an issue with heavier cars.

I'll be working till about 8pm on Monday, so there's no way I can make it to this race, but I'm looking forward to making it to one of them, lol.

The Hardcore Downhill series, is a new thing I'm trying, where people send in teams of custom racers and they compete on a traveling circuit with different tracks at each stop. We are currently have 8 races on 7 tracks in 5 states and 5 teams for a total of 20 cars. We are racing in Texas, Iowa, Ohio, Maine and Connecticut. Next season will be expanding to California and Nevada. There's always room for more cars!
