Nostalgia Dragsters will take the Rincon Strip at LA Caridura Racepark 1/8 mile track.
Rules & restrictions
- Stock and modified entries allowed
- 35g maximum weight
- 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.25in. wide
- Limit 1 entries per household
- Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed.
- Any lube as long it doesn't drips on the track
- Tires should be black , Skinnies upfront(preferred but not mandatory) fats on the rear required.
- Cars should fit in Hot Wheels orange track.
- 32 cars field.
Dates & deadlines
All entries must be received by the host before Sunday, 1/4/2026. Racing is scheduled for Sunday, 1/11/2026. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.
How to enter
Contact the tournament host to get the shipping address for entry.
Include at least $10.00 for return shipping if you want your entries back. Entries not getting returned will be given to the winner as part of the prize.

Race format and scoring
This will be a single-elimination tournament. A car will move on in the bracket only when it wins two races out of three. Cars will alternate lanes between each race.Car with the fastest time on the first two runs will have lane choice for the third lap which will be the one it posted the best time.
The car that wins the final race will be declared the winner. Race host has final decision in all races.
Bracket seeding wil be based on qualifying times.
Penalties/DNF
Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.
If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.
Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.Cars not returned will stay at the track for future displays and research.

Is it only the four cars listed above, or dragsters in general? Not funny cars?
- Yes any nostalgia dragster and no funny cars or gassers and no modern era or electric dragsters.I will even accept a open wheels hot rod from that era...30's , 40's etc but no modern ones. 7 — Marco_Polo

- They can be pretty fast if done properly, remember the strip is not too steep so lightweight cars take of the line quicker than heavy ones so they must be good rollers , for example: I havea Loluxthatbecamethe standard for measuring performance cause in stock form it does low 2 sec times ... just a pointer on mi track... — Marco_Polo

Can I get in on this one?
Just a heads up on the tire rules... Skinnies are ok for the front but not mandatory...you can use regulars if you want to , but big or fat ones are mandatory for the rear .
