Open House - Carlisle, PA - Sun. April 1st 2012
Diecast collector and industry personality Andy Goodman (Editor in Chief of Die Cast X Magazine) http://www.hotwheelscollectors.com/collecting/spotlight/news.aspx?news_id=554 is hosting an open house at his warehouse in Carlisle Pa. on April 1st 2012. Come check out his 30K piece diecast collection and spend the day with fellow Hot Wheels Collectors such as Mike Zarnock who has already confirmed his attendance. This is neither a show nor a convention this is a low key get together being organized by Andy Goodman and Mike Zarnock with the intention of offering a place to meet fellow collectors and share in the passions of model collecting.
Activities for the day include – gravity racing on a custom 6 lane 40’ track(including the running of the Featherweight Challenge), take a spin around a fully digital 180’ 6 lane slot car track and or trade, sell and buy diecast with fellow collectors. Trading is encouraged and welcome though space is limited so please limit the items you bring.
This is a RSVP event; and you must confirm you attendance by PMing me, GspeedR, on this forum – This event will be open to only 30 guests, so please contact me as soon as possible for directions and times. I will be updating this post periodically with a participant list.

Despite it being an easy day trip for me, I won't be able to make it as the date sits squarely in the "baby might come" window. However, Redline Derby will be represented some how. Bill (GSR) will be my official liason but if there is anything else I can do to help promote, donate or support, just let me know.

Dammit. Sorry about that, Bill. I'm horrible with names, apparently both in real life and online. I'll just start calling everyone Bob no matter what, that way I can offend everyone rather than just a select few. I'm a dope.
