The first-ever Redline Derby mail-in race on Power-Up Pass is in the books, and what a start it was!
Group 1 kicked things off with Puff Racing’s Darth Vader, Segno Della Frenata from Skidmarks Racing, Papa Steve from Road Rage Racing, and Jack Jack from Chase Family Racing. Darth just couldn’t get through the Blooper Bumps, losing momentum early, while Segno and Jack Jack battled closely all the way down the stretch. Papa Steve gave fans a thrill, balancing on two wheels through the high-banked turn before recovering to stay in the fight.
Group 2 brought together Misty G from Puff Racing, Luigi from Chase Family Racing, Harley from Travelers Racing League, and Yoshimite from U8M3. Misty struggled a bit on the bumps as well but managed to finish twice. Yoshimite, making his first-ever appearance, held his own and showed serious promise for races to come. Meanwhile, Harley and Luigi traded leads and put on a show through every turn.
That all set the stage for the Final Race — a tight showdown with plenty of drama. Jack Jack looked like the favorite early on, but his own teammate Luigi slipped underneath him after the 180 on Boo’s Hollow, knocking him sideways and taking control. Luigi held strong and even showed off some skateboarding moves crossing the line first to claim the Power-Up Pass Premier Title!
