PRO STOCK DRAG RACE

This event will be PRO STOCK (casting) DRAG RACE, Similar to an NHRA event. I am looking to host 16 to 32 teams, everything is dependent on the number of entries. I am not going to put a cap on the amount of teams that may join "HOWEVER" only 16 to 32 will make the field to race (1 car only ).

This Drag race will consist of a bracket / brackets.

To make the cut each Teams entry will make three passes down the track and those times will make an over all average and then set your place in the field. The times will then fill the field / Bracket from fastest to slowest. If there are times that tie they will fill the field / bracket until the next unequal time ( Ex: 3 drivers have an average of 2.25 and we were at spot 6 on the field / bracket. They would  fill  7, 8 & 9 according to when they posted there times.) In the event of tied averages on the last spot to fill the bracket, We will then have a run off of only those cars to get the last spot. ( any question ask)

Depending on how many entries I get the Qualifying laps might or might not be video'ed.  But all results will be posted on my FACEBOOK GROUP PAGE @ ROADRAGE RACING.

Rules & restrictions

• Stock and modified entries allowed
• 60g maximum weight
• 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.25in. wide
• Limit 1 entries per household
• Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed.
• Dry lube only
• NO COLORED WHEELS (Must be black or grey)
• YOU MAY SAND YOUR WHEELS TO GET RID OF SPURS, BUT NO CONNING OR LATHING OF ANY KIND.
• PAINTING YOUR CAR IS ALWAYS WELCOME, BUT NO MODIFYING THE BODY OR BODY LINES, NO GRINDING WHEEL WELLS TO FIT TIRES. 
• YOU MUST MANTAIN THE WHEELIE BARS & HOOD INTAKE THAT CAME WITH THIS CASTING.
• YOU MAY SAND THE UNDER CARRIAGE OF THE CAR.
• FRONT WINDOW ONLY HAS TO BE CLEAR ALL OTHERS CAN BE PAINTED ( not filled ).
• GLUING AXLES IS PERMITTED.
• WEIGHTS MUST BE HIDDEN AND NOT VISIABLE

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before Tuesday, 3/8/2022. Racing will start soon thereafter,  Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.

How to enter

Contact the tournament host to get the shipping address for entry.

Include at least $8.00 for return shipping if you want your entries back.  Shipping outside the USA is more. 

Include a Race Entry ID slip with your entry

Race format and scoring

This will be a single-elimination tournament. A car will move on in the bracket only when it wins two out of three races.  The last race for the Chamionship will be best out of 5 races. 

The car that wins the final race will be declared the winner. Race host has final decision in all races.

Bracket seeding will be random.

Penalties/DNF

Cars are NOT given a grace over the stated weight limit.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not race.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced they will DNF.
