Race numbers, why did you pick the one you did?
hi guys I've been using #0 since I have been racing for obvious reasons zero hp racing being my team name and I have never seen -Underdogs_NeOn City_Unleashed, race since I have been racing ?
Race numbers are first come, first served... simple as that. A kind racer may work with you if you have chosen a number they would prefer but it isn't mandatory. I have also seen hosts work with racers about numbers but even then it was a kindness not a requirement.

- I also agree first in first served but I also wouldn’t use a number of a known racer in the same event and also would like to keep my number consistent for viewers and racers to recognise for any events that require a number — Zerohpracing
Originally I wanted to be 98, to give a nod to how many women I had dated before my first marriage. Between my first and second marriage, that number increased quite a bit, so I was going to be 172, But that number seemed unbelievable, so I dropped the #1. Now that the second marriage ended in a DNF, I've gone to #73 in hopes that I will actually find "the one" and my 3rd marriage will be my last.... However, I'm not opposed to #74, 75, 76, 77..... :)
I started a list for my track. Trying to honor the numbers that have been associated with racers for years, and letting new racers know what numbers are taken. I started this a couple days ago, and it's been pretty active. This helps me with what I do on my end as a host with editing, identification, and tracking stats. I never knew this post existed until yesterday. It's weird how things pop up after you deciede to do something. Ha ha
I usually go with #44. It was my football number in high school and was also my grandpa's football number. Been my favorite number ever since. If I get beat to the punch then my alternate is #30. It was my football number in Jr High and was my dad's high-school number.
6 cause I got into racing when my friend's dad worked for Roush Racing.

I still have decals for the numbers I wanted to be 8, 9, 24 but I'm usually the last one to sign up and every number is taken. I mean even K-9 lol. I thought 0, or 00, looked cool. Taken. I was born in 77?! Taken. Any 1 or 2 digit number combination i could think of was taken. So i went triple digits

I use 00 because It's been my number since high school. I like the number 13 also because it's my lucky number. But forfeited it because it's MrDarqs. If I had to choose an alternate, I'd use 44 because I like the 44 magnum! It's a powerful round that'll stop a charging bear.
