can't take any credit, the drag tracks set had a cheapo switch for 1 or 2 players, also an on / off switch... set to one player, taped them off and put them inside

Since I am on the schedule - I took some time to do some testing of the new Drag Track set up. I did 3 height levels. Started with both legs in place, then one and then just the start box supported about a foot. Didnt like the two leg height and slope, but on one leg was pretty good and the lowest set up still completed the 20 foot or so long track easily.

The highest/steepest set up was yielding a time of about 1.7 seconds. The one leg height about 2.3 and the lowest about 2.8 seconds.

When the transition piece that Smitty made gets here I will do some more testing. Planning to use some ideals in PVC that Smitty and Stroller have posted about in building a portable triangle shaped support for the transition piece and support legs with that nifty camera mount integrated!

In relation to Strollers race post today - since most of the track was on the floor the cats were intrigued! The big boy cat did his best to help the set up process. (He always comes to watch what I am doing. The best time was when I was cleaning the fridge coils . I was lying on the floor and when I finished he was also laying on the floor beside me with his head on the floor - looking under the fridge as well!) The regular sized girl kitty chased the cars down the track a few times, but would only touch them after they stopped at the end of the track. The post release mechanisms scared her a bit each time they went off.
