Both on their way to mountain of doom

  • Wow! Those are neat! I like the wheels on the Mustang, and the engine on the Datsun. Where did you get the engine, or did you build it? — ManiacMotorsports
  • Nicely done. — Billys_Midway_Racing
  • The Datsun is the motor trend rotsun premium. It came with the motor — RaginRicky
  • Oh, ok — ManiacMotorsports
  • Those both are Really Sweet looking But! That Datsun is the Bomb! — Bent_Rod_Racing
  • Thanks for the compliments. Just hope they run as good as they look — RaginRicky

Slight change for my British car tournament build, got this Bentley Continental gt, 55.7 grams with the usual wheel work. I've had it sitting on the shelf for about a year so time to finally see how it does.

My entry for the Beetle Bonanza in June. I've made a few in different scales but this is my first 1/64th scale Herbie. All decals and painting done by me. It even has OFP 857 license plates.

Herbie started out as the green Matchbox Beetle.

  • Very nice... I considered going that way as I saw thosemovies as a kid in the local theater and built several plastic models of it over the course of my life! — Stoopid_Fish_Racing
  • Thank you. I was tempted to do a Hot Wheels VW and paint it as Bumblebee or just paint it in my own colors but my 1/10 scale Herbie convinced me otherwise. :-) — Billys_Midway_Racing
  • I should look and see if I can stream an old Herbie movie. — Dutch_Clutch_Racing
  • The Love Bug is still my favorite but Herbie Rides Again, Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo, Herbie Goes Banannas and Herbie Fully Loaded are all fun too. The original theme song gets stuck in my head every time. — Billys_Midway_Racing
  • It's been a long time since I've seen one. — Dutch_Clutch_Racing
  • That is so cool! — ManiacMotorsports
  • Herbie was my first 'celebrity' crush. I was 4. Our local theater was showing a Herbie movie and they had a Bug in front of the theater, which I thought was the real Herbie, so I talked to it. He didn't honk at me. lol — FeralPatrick
  • very cool — G_ForceRacing

I'm not big on matchbox but I modified this old Mbx superfast Mercedes 500 Sec. wheel swap with the paint and regular axel and wheel work, comes in at 60.3 grams. I was thinking of maybe sending it to Bay city for Topsy Turvy

LRL's The British are Coming. McLaren is my main entry. The Jag is for testing and as a backup in case the McLaren is too low (or just doesn't run well).

  • Damn and are both equipped with FTE’s or are they just chrome wheels? — Kingjester
  • Both are FTE's. I'm actually trying to use up my supply. :) — FeralPatrick
  • Well By Golly those Flames are going to make that thing Smoke the Track up! — Bent_Rod_Racing
  • @ Bent Rod - Right? 2 of my cars with flames just won their rounds recently. Looks like I better print up some more! — FeralPatrick
  • Lol Am hoping with my 911, By the way those Flames are really cool? — Bent_Rod_Racing
  • I really like the orange on the Mclaren. I don't know if I want to go up against those flames lol — ManiacMotorsports
  • They both look nice but that McLaren is hot! I had painted a Mini-Z R/C McLaren F1 for racing at a local track about 10 years ago. I'd love to paint a matching diecast eventually. I got a silver Hot Wheels McLaren F1 to paint but I like the paint job too much and it's missing the rear spoiler. — Billys_Midway_Racing
  • Crap! More fast cars to contend with! ;) — G_ForceRacing

Zarnock trading in his old ride for a Shiny new one, Didn't tell Dealer there still is Squaknard pieces stuck in the front sterring!

  • Loving the colors and the off road wheels on the count muscula really adds to it — Kingjester
  • They both look great but the Count Muscula looks mean! — Billys_Midway_Racing
  • Am hoping so Billy! the first one came in Last! Don't want to make that mistake again, But? — Bent_Rod_Racing

Bugs ready to race

Both are headed to the Mountain Of Doom for the Universal Championship II. The Neet Streeter was a an original black wall from '77 that was in pretty bad shape. I had one as a kid and couldn't resist.

  • That Coupe rocks, Both have Great colors. Good Luck and See you There! — Bent_Rod_Racing
  • Thanks! I just hope it rolls. — DemonPreacher
