Okay I really love how this turned out. This Aston Martin Vantage GTE will be heading down to tiny track cars. 52.5 grams with the usual wheel and axel work. Of course you can't be going to the Big O without a racing stripe.
Brick and Motor is off the bench and at Custom Carnage. I think it looks like a home built electric hot rod. Square tube frame, sheet aluminum body panels, electric forklift motor.,. me and my buds could pull this off. This was a really fun build. If it works on track I'll definitely do another one applying the lessons learned. Kinda worried about the open wheels on open track but it might be a good drag car. Hey Craigster Sr, does it look like a fantasy pickup casting to you? Lightning Strikes Twice eligible?
Feral, Awesome looking car... As mentioned above great decals, you make your own? My color vision is bad Is it a silver base with a pearl white?

Thanks guys. @Desert_Rat - Yes I design my own decals which are just inkjet prints. The paint is actually stock. I just removed the tampos with Flitz polish. Since I live in Minnesota I have to wait till it's above 32F before I can paint, so during the winter I mainly do this or just strip and polish bare metal.

so this is my '73 Plymouth duster pro stock for the southern skirmish, I'd say all ya gonna get to see is these taillights, but in reality this is just the better lookin side, I was tryin something a little different using holographic temporary tattoos to achieve this look, and I almost executed my 'vision', but it could of turned out a little better, anyways shipping out tomorrow
HW Neon Speeders BMW M3 GT2 sent in to TTCs GT Tournament on The Big O... I'm new to racing hopefully I can be fast enough to compete with yall! Glad to be here
So this is not a 1/64 scale but wanted to share the paint job. My daughters boyfriend asked if I could repaint his car as it was an ugly dark blue. Fast and Furious 7 collection.
I sat on it for a couple weeks checking out different paint liveries and nothing I liked. So he came over and I hit him up with that one question... Dude I'm not finding anything I like for the car Do you have anything special?
Ge grabs his phone and pulls up a young YouTuber with too much money and he said.
this is sick can you do something like this...
so the first pics are the very plush car the YouTuber owns. It is a 6 layer wrap job...
So I was like sure I can paint that... lol in the back of my mind I was like crap I need more paint...
So Createx paints to the rescue. all Pearl colors, Pinapple yellow, Black and green. I layered it and did a blend then shot 2k clear. Once it dried and did a wet sanding with 2500 grit then hit it with a ceramic wax. It gave it a dull look that made my day.
Thank you... I wish I had more knowledge to color match but that would entail big bucks...

I‘m only able to paint with rattle cans. I never had the possibility to use a airbrush. This car looks amazing! You can‘t compare to a foiled car!

So, I recently found a very unusual car, and I wanted to share it with you. This is the 2006 Quad Rod, which was only made from 2006-2009. What makes this car especially interesting is that it is a rhomboid car: one slender wheel in the front, one meaty tire in the back, and two beefy tires to either side. The name was recycled in 2017 for a quad cycle.
I have the silver one in the second and third pictures. It was found at a thrift store, and still rolls surprisingly well. I have never seen one since.
Tooned 911 w/ Tooned Supra wheel swap... ready to race! Gonna be heading off to the Triple Track Challenge Tooned Edition, I'm excited to see if I can compete. See you all there!
Thanks! It was supposed to be but Mark said it didn't meet his intended design constraints so I will be building a different one and hope to find a race for this one in the future!

This is my build (before/after) for the Beautiful Busses & Trains race this month. I just stripped the chrome and tampos and left the plastic as is for the final look.
