Scale Racing Channel Heavyweight Stock Championship

The last rung in the weight segment ladder, cars weighing 63 grams and up! Cars must fit on Hot Wheels orange track. No height or length limits. Must be a single chassis vehicle. No linked trains, etc.  There will be a lane divider in place at the stop bag to keep cars safe from rear end collisions. 

Maximum of 2 cars per racer. $10 covers entry fee and return shipping for both.
Max of 2 racers per household. Additional $10 fee for additional household racer.

Rules & restrictions

• Stock entries only
• 63g minimum weight
• Single chassis vehicle. No trains. 
• Limit 2 entries per household
• Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed.
• Any dry type lubes. No wet oils please!

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before Tuesday, 12/5/2023. Racing will take place afterwards and will be posted to Youtube on or after that date as is convenient for the host.

Include at least $10 for return shipping if you want your entries back. Entries not getting returned will be given to the winner as part of the prize.

Racing will be on the Scale Racing Channel. View track profile and specs

Race format and scoring

Bracket seeding based on qualifying times. Qualifying consists of one run in each lane. Lowest of the two times is used. Ties broken by the slower time.

This will be a single-elimination tournament. A car will move on in the bracket with the fastest pass after lane swaps.

Race final will be best 3 out of 5. The car that wins the final race will be declared the winner. Race host has final decision in all races.

Penalties/DNF

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.

Custom paint allowed. No customizations that affect overall weight of the car. No drilled rivets. No wheel sanding.
