Man I keep seeing cars I've missed in 2011...like that Mustang!

I found these yesterday at Target which usually has crap for cars...sure enough there were only about 20 cars on the pegs but found these

Ferrari FF and Skyline...thought it was an FTE at first

FF is definately getting new wheels...FTE's or ?

That Skyline is pretty sweet. At TRU I saw a few 2012 models out already, I think.

Walmart I usually go to has had 2012 cars for a month or so already.
My TRU is even worse than Target for putting out fresh cars, but that allows me to catch a few I missed.
I'm trying to slow down...I'm running out of storage area!

Yesterday at lunch I was out on my little fold up bicycle running some errands and stopped by a toy store I had noticed a few weeks ago. It's called Anna's Toy Depot and sells new and used toys, games, etc. It was great to see and was busy.
Needless to say there were 4 big bins full of little cars with lots of Hot Wheels.

I didn't get to spend too much time there but came home with these for $5.

Got a sweet Cadillac Cien FTE (wheels seem to spin forever), El Camino FTE, reissue redline Mongoose and Demon, a couple of Ferrari's and others that peaked my interest for customs, etc.

I'll be going back soon to dig some more!

That reminds me I need to go re-visit a little hobby shop in town here that had some older cars for still a $1. And they have trains!

Today I was on a mission to find FTEs with the old wheels. Could't resist picking up a few others too.
Stopped at a few Dollar General and Family Dollar strores and found these:

. . . next over to Toys R Us. They must have gotten a new shipment in! I saw cars I hadn't seen before. Ended up with these:

Ahh the Lotus Concept! I was so disappointed by that car, haha. I saw it and was like, "Huge wheels, rolls pretty well, seems rather aerodynamic enough..." and then raced it to find out that it was complete garbage. Maybe I just haven't given it enough of a chance, but it doesn't seem to even keep up with the slower cars.

Nice finds their otherwise!

I thought the same thing about the Lotus Concept, hope mine does better. Right now I'm building some cars for the next Hardcore Downhill Series and I've got to get my track built so I can do some testing.
